About DJ Rescue Crew

Our Mission

At DJ Rescue Crew, we are a network of professional Disc Jockeys offering free DJ services for nonprofit animal rescues.

Our Programs

We offer a variety of programs to help our communities, such as educating the public on spaying/neutering, nutrition, & veterinary care, funding a pet food bank for the poor, an emergency fund for veterinary bills, and fostering pets of senior citizens in hospice.

Capturing Our Mission: A Photo Story of DJ Rescue Crew

Kenai was seen being tossed from a moving car when she was only 8 weeks old. She was cared for by her rescuer until she was brought to us and was spayed, vetted, and adopted.

Images of Impact: The Work of DJ Rescue Crew

The condition of Rosie's coat is horrific.

We had hoped to spay Rosie immediately, but fate had other plans for her.

Finally caught after a year of being fed by a Good Samaritan

If you look closely, you can see how thin her fur is. She is a long-haired breed, and most of her hair hasn't grown back. There are several reasons this could happen, and only through donations could we have afforded to run multiple tests.

This male is believed to be one of the many puppies that poor Rosie has given birth to in the desert

The property she came from is a hoarding nightmare, and animal control along with code enforcement have done nothing to improve the situation. Fortunately, she and her pups wandered over to a neighboring property where they were fed.

Rosie in the home of the good samaritan who's fed her and many other strays for the past year.

Donating to our food bank will help feed the many strays in the desert that we are trying to catch, spay/neuter, and find responsible homes for. We will also donate to seniors and the homeless who need food for their pets.

Rosie at the vet brought bad news.

Rosie had been neglected for most of her life, breeding litter after litter & not eating a healthy diet. She sadly was not a candidate to get spayed on the day we brought her to the vet. Routine testing for diabetes, cancer, and other health issues was recommended, and we lacked the funds to handle all the recommendations. Without your donations we can't continue to help animals in need.

UPDATE ON DUSTY: Sadly, Dusty's mom passed away on 12/26/24 - just two days after his last visit with her. Dusty is now available for adoption.
